Unmissable Art Exhibition: MoMA Rolls into Paris

The Fondation Louis Vuitton is welcoming the New York Museum of Modern Art’s unrivalled collection this autumn. Showcasing more than 200 masterpieces signed Warhol, Cézanne, Klimt, Magritte and Picasso, as well as lesser-known but equally intriguing works, Être moderne: Le MoMA à Paris charts the evolution and multifaceted scope of the institution’s collection and its far-reaching contribution to the arts.

Established in 1929, The Museum of Modern Art was one of the first devoted exclusively to the visual arts of the time. The exhibition is a coup for
the relatively young Fondation Louis Vuitton, which is steadily proving its mettle
as one of the art world’s biggest players. After gathering plaudits with Keys to a Passion in 2015, it hit its stride with the hugely-successful Icons of Modern Art, The Shchukin Collection in 2016. All eyes are now on the Fondation as it embarks on its highest-profile collaboration yet – one that promises to be the highlight of the cultural season.
