Les Misérables In Montreuil-Sur-Mer
Every summer, some 500 townsfolk of Montreuillois dress up in period garb and make for the fortress that fired up Hugo’s imagination at twilight to bring the novel of ‘Les Misérables’ and its ragtag cast to life – and re-enact his fleeting visit – in a light-show spectacular. And this time, the author just about stays the night!
