42nd Deauville American Film Festival
The 42nd American Film Festival, returns to Deauville this summer. Since 1975 the American film festival has presented a selection of a hundred or so cinematographic works from the United States: from big Hollywood productions to independent cinema, from feature films to short films through television.
Screenings at the American Film Festival take place at the International Centre in Deauville, the Lucien Barrière casino and Le Mony cinema, and will present 24 hour screenings of films over ten days. A jury will reward the best productions and honour remarkable figures of American cinema.
The festival village will host events to connect visitors closer to film, gaining a better understanding of American film culture.
