Above all a family site, far from the crowds of big resorts, Métabief is the ideal resort to enjoy the green, blue, red and black slopes while discovering an exceptional panoramic view the Alpine mountain range.

A mountain to ski!

A thrill or two does the world of good! And after all your efforts, comes relaxation and comfort.

For your next winter holiday, enjoy skiing down the slopes of Métabief. It is one of the most important ski resorts in the Jura Mountains with a ski area between 1,000 and 1,463 metres above sea level.

Located in the Doubs department, Métabief is a few hours from Paris and 30 minutes from Lausanne. Stretching to the foot of the Mont d’Or, the resort connects three sectors: Super Longevilles, Métabief and Piquemiette. Its 27 slopes represent 37 km of skiing for all styles: skiing, snowboarding, telemark… Métabief is also a Nordic domain with more than 200 km of cross-country ski trails and marked snowshoe trails.

Play areas for young and old alike

Calling all passionate skiers and experienced snowboarders! The Métabief slopes will make you happy, with four fun zones located on the site – notably the Snow Park and the Bio Park. Their facilities are ideal for you to perform your tricks. If you prefer to keep your skis on the ground, don’t hesitate to stop for a few moments at the edge of the piste to admire the athletes.

Métabief offers activities for both experts and beginners. Children can learn at their own pace in one of the Ski Schools (ESI or ESF), ride down the slopes on inflatables in Les Granges-Raguin or share a moment with their family on an electric scooter (from 11 years-old). And why not head to Jura Kid Park and Easy Park – your children will love it!

The atmosphere in the village

A visit to the village provides the opportunity to experience a unique moment in the Jura Mountains! Enjoy the local cuisine by tasting Comté cheese, Morteau sausage and Jura wines in the village’s typical restaurants.

How about a cinema trip after dinner? The Mont d’Or cinema has two screens, one of which has a 3D projector!

A variety of visits to surrounding villages, such as Fort Saint Antoine, or the Maison de la Réserve or the bell foundry provide further variety for pleasure with your family.
