Hotel Le Jardin de Neuilly: Not Far from Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris

Housed in a 19th Century mansion set in three buildings and with its own private garden, Hotel Le Jardin de Neuilly is situated a few minutes’ walk from the Palais de Congres and within walking distance to Metro Les Sablons on Line 1. This three-star hotel is clean, spacious and just the job for a quick visit to Paris. For business travellers with meetings at the Palais de Congres or in La Defense business district, the location is perfect as the line 1 serves both within a few minutes. Let’s not forget that the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées is only three stops away on the same line!

The rooms at the Jardin de Neuilly are decorated in a classically modern fashion and some rooms come with a view over the hotel’s private garden, which provides a serene seating area filled with birdsong. Whilst traffic does bustle along the main road a few hundred yards away from the hotel (near the Porte de Maillot), the hotel is well-insulated so you can’t hear it, and getting a good night’s sleep isn’t a problem. An added perk: the very comfy beds covered with super soft duvets.

The rooms come with standard mod cons like a flat screen TV, air conditioning, safe, desk and wardrobe. The breakfast is simple serving up cereals, yoghurt and fruits and this can be enjoyed in a peaceful area overlooking the hotel’s garden. There’s no bar or restaurant at the hotel but cross over the main Avenue Charles de Gaulle into the Place du Marche and you’ll find a couple of very nice bistros for lunch time or evening dining. Try also the rue de Sablonville for its boutiques and other eateries. I should also mention that underneath the Palais de Congres you’ll find a nice little shopping arcade with the likes of Gant, Boss & GAP all on offer.

In short: A clean three-star hotel with perfectly adequate amenities and within a short distance of the Champs-Élysées.
