Marsh birds in the Gulf of Morbihan

Come and discover the bird life of the salt marshes and water meadows in the heart of the Séné marsh and Pen en Toul nature reserves bordering the Gulf of Morbihan. Daily guided tours at Séné with exhibitions, video screening, observation posts, binoculars and telescopes provided. Mandine ornithological site in Bouguenais

This wetland area on the banks of the Loire is home to many different types of birds which can be viewed from the observation hides summer and winter! In summer, you can spot members of the heron family – grey and purple heron, little egret and night heron – as well as kingfishers, waders, coot, little grebe, and more.

Rennes and Ille-et-Vilaine: coastline and woodland

The Ile des Landes is home to one of the largest sea bird colonies of shag, great black-backed gulls, etc in Ille-et-Vilaine.
