Manoir de Beauregard
Set in beautiful landscaped grounds in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne, Land of 1001 chateaux, the property is perfectly situated for exploring all the PERIGORD has to offer whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this magical place. The Manoir BEAUREGARD itself has its own history dating back to the 12th century, with Eleanor Aquitaine, the watchtower date back to this period.
The manor, the guest cottage and barn have all been restored, all in honey coloured stone, facing south , and reflecting the light and warm of the sun. It is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and memorable holiday.
The barn has been lovingly restored and offers luxury accommodations. It has been renovated to a very high standard using local stone for the floors downstairs and oak floor boards in the bedrooms. We have called it the Library as it has wall tower of bookshelves full of books for our guests to borrow and peruse. The books cover a wide range of topics including art, history of art, gardening, cooking and geography.
3 rooms with en suite bathrooms, has been furnished with high quality beddings and antiques and retains all of its charm with modern fitting.
The cottage has been restored to a very high standard using natural Dordogne stone in the bathrooms, and wood floorboards in the bed in the bedrooms. The cottage has been furnished with quality bedding and antiques and family possessions.
The large salt pool 13 m x 5 m is heated in the cooler months with a large terrace in stone and teak wood surrounded by lavender, olive and palm trees and white roses.
