Barge Tango

Welcome Aboard Tango!

A cruise on Tango means a week of relaxed luxury, gourmet cuisine, and fine regional wines. Each day you will cruise for several hours. Take a seat on the sun deck, put your feet up, and sip a glass of wine, watching the scenery as you float by.

Tango’s English-speaking tour guide escorts you on daily excursions in our air-conditioned mini-van. You’ll explore the Bordeaux countryside, visiting historic sites, and shopping the open-air markets. Learn about viticulture at local wineries, and of course, enjoy tasting their wines!

The Captain’s Cabin has a private entrance from the main deck. The Captain’s cabin has one king bed. What our Passengers Say

“…life onboard the Tango was like living in a dream.”

“With this captivating landscape unrolling like a private movie around me, each day passes by. The routine onboard is happily shaped by the rhythm of meals: late lazy breakfasts, followed by long lunches, afternoon canapes, and three course dinners, with some local cheese tasting thrown in (the cost of the trip is all inclusive – which means as much French wine tasting as desired).”

Alice Coomans Luxury Travel Magazine Australia, Fall 2007

“We can’t think of anything that could have made our voyage any better. A magnificent “Tango” lovingly and well designed and expertly piloted by Daniel; the very best possible caring on-board service, meals to die for, and finally, the most well organised, educational and enjoyable tours possible. And our fellow passengers were the best!”

Carol Ann and Karl Barnickol Georgetown Lake, Montana, U.S.A.

“From the moment we were picked up in the minivan and arrived in on Tango, it has been the most magical vacation we have ever had! We’re leaving you with heavy hearts and dream of returning someday! Tango is a beautiful vessel, thank you for turning it over to our family and making us feel so welcome, we felt like we were living a dream.”
