Our highly experienced teachers, Avril and Caroline, will help you enjoy learning the French language and make your stay one to be remembered.

An open, dynamic and playful teaching method, mainly based on conversation and practice.

Whether your proficiency level is elementary or advanced, we will help you improve your language level and overcome your fear of speaking French.

Based on games and authentic situations, you will learn to communicate more easily with native speakers. You will get to meet local artisans, passionate people who will tell you about their craft and answer your questions. It’s a rare opportunity to discover Provence in a more authentic way while learning some colourful phrases!

Who are we?

Avril

I am a qualified translator who has literary studies in two languages. I have been teaching French to foreigners for the last 13 years. After working for 7 years with European institution’s staff and interpreters, I moved back to Provence to launch my own company. I love the French language, its pitfalls, its treasures, and its mysteries! I will find a way to build a bridge between your language and mine!

Caroline

I have been a French teacher for over 10 years. After my training and several professional experiences with international language schools and companies, I decided to pursue freelance opportunities to develop my skills. Teaching French is not just a job for me, it is a way of life, a way to share my culture with passion and kindness.

The stays

Classes take place in the morning from 9h to 12h. After a lunch break, you can either choose to take part in some local cultural activities (wine tasting, sports, art gallery visits, discovering local curiosities and must see attractions, meeting with a local producer…) or you can make your own plans.

These options can be adapted according to your needs and wishes. You can ask for more hours, activities, other topics or additional services (accommodation in one of our partners’ B&B, car rental, airport/train station transfer, restaurant reservations) all designed to make your experience with us stress-free.

Thematic stays: Gastronomy, Nature & sports, Wellbeing, Literature (in July only)

Professional stays: Business French, Diplomatic French, Press French, exam training (DELF, TCF), interpreter training.

In July and August 2021, lessons will take place in the wonderful rooms of the medieval castle! It has an extraordinary view of the valley and it is a fantastic place to learn French in a peaceful setting.

The location

Just a few kilometers from Avignon, Le Beaucet is a small traditional village in the Venaissin countryside.surrounded by vineyards, cherry trees, truffle oak plantations and ruined castles! The lessons can take place in different locations. For an individual stay, the instructor can come to your place and provide all the necessary material. For a group stay, a classroom will be at your disposal.
