Why Mercurart?

The gallery is located in Mercuer, a village which is named after the god Mercury, who was honoured in this place by the Romans. A Roman road and now hiking trail passes by the edge of the rose garden and the sculptures of Mercurart. There is also an ancient sarcophagus, found locally, located a few hundreds of meters in the woods.

Mercurart is part of the Artistic career of the Monts d’Ardèche which will start in July 2017.
