Henri Rousseau Celebrated in Basel

Don’t miss this exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler in Basel of forty major paintings honoring the centenary of the self-taught French artist Rousseau (1844-1910), including a group of his famous paintings of imaginary jungles. Rousseau was one of the many modern artists collected by Ernst Beyeler, founder of this prestigious private museum, who died in February at the age of 88.
