❋ Inspired by the iconic 1960s musical  set and flmed in Cherbourg, Normandy, in 1986 founder Jean-Pierre Yvon decided to manufacture his very own custom-made umbrellas and launched Le Véritable Cherbourg label.

❋ The luxury canvas umbrellas are made from the noblest of materials, including maple, chestnut and hornbeam shaped by hand. Seams are rolled and ribbed and each parapluie is tested in a wind tunnel at speeds of 150km/h to ensure optimum weather resistance.
