Paris: The Summer Sales

It’s that special time of year in Paris: the month of the summer sales. Unlike in America, sales are regulated by the government in France, and take place at the beginning of January and the end of June each year. The summer sales last a whole five weeks, this year from June 24th-July 28th, and they are THE time to go shopping in Paris.

This year, Printemps, the luxury Paris department store, is celebrating the sales season with special openings on June 26th, June 27th, and July 14th (also known as Bastille Day). They also offer a special 10% discount card to all foreign customers. You can learn all about their special offers at on their website.
