Job Responsibilities:
-Position requires an experienced bi-lingual Editor with an advanced understanding of health and fitness topics.
-Candidates must be able to translate and write clear, engaging articles accessible to an audience that includes health and fitness enthusiasts as well as youths and beginners.
-Editor responsible for developing strategy and implementing plans for acquiring fitness related content through the use of partnerships, freelancers, and more. Curate content related to fitness through freelance relationships and partnerships.
Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years experience as an editor at a national women’s magazine or fitness/health Magazine.
Qualifications:
-Must be bilingual in French and English
-A foundation in (or strong familiarity with) the fields of health and nutrition
-Strong editing and writing skills, solid judgment, and a good eye toward untapped angles
-Ability to work on deadline with a variety of personalities in a collaborative environment
-Endless energy and vision for a publication with high-quality content, and exceptional drive to maximize its visibility.
-Thorough knowledge and experience with women's lifestyle magazine.
