Galeries Lafayette's Grand Défilé

Fashion addicts may want to consider a September trip to Paris to coincide with “the world’s biggest fashion show” on September 18. For the third edition of Galeries Lafayette’s Grand Défilé, some 400 models will be chosen for their unique look from a pool of fabulous wanabees—see www.galerieslafayette.com for details on how to participate. The lucky 400 will be made up, coiffed and dressed by Paris’s top stylists-to-the-stars and will strut their stuff on a magnificent catwalk created for the event. The four fashion categories will be City Slicker, Tea Time, Cocktail Hour and Night Owl.
